Once upon the time I bought a beetle that someone had started to rebuild as a roadster. During some hasty weeks in the spring it was put into driving condition with an engine from my daily-driver and a plastic front window as the original cracked as we tried to cut it...
During that summer we drove about 3000 kilometers, top-down all the time.
The picture is taken on Strynefjellet in the middle of the summer, and it was just as cold as it looks.
I hope that I will be able to put some more time and money into this car. It really is a joyride!
